- **Event Description**: The Tallahassee Civic Chorale is sponsoring a brunch and walking tour at Natural Bridge Battlefield Historic State Park on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 10:00 am to about 2:00 pm. The walking tour will be in the recently acquired acreage commonly called the Rakestraw property, where much of the 1865 Civil War battle took place. The area is not normally open to the general public.
Tickets are $25 for adults. Proceeds benefit the Tallahassee Civic Chorale, a local non-profit chorus. We ask that you please purchase tickets in advance by Thursday, March 12th, but a few walk ups can be accommodated. Those with limited mobility may not be able to access all areas of the tour. Brunch included with the tour is Egg Bake, Grits, Hashbrowns, Muffins & Pastries, Fruit, as well as Coffee, Tea, and Juice. 
Outdoor seating will be available (weather permitting).
A guided tour will go through the area of Florida’s second largest battle at the point where the St. Marks River goes underground. There will also be a self guided walk or bike journey that begin from the Rakestraw house to Horn Springs. 
Please check in at the main parking area, where you will be given a parking tag and directed to the Rakestraw House.
