Mindful Creativity

Join us for this wonderful series of monthly classes designed to teach the art of creating mindfully! Each month we will focus on a different and unique creative element and will tie in mindfulness techniques. This is also a wonderful opportunity to meet noble friends in the community. Each class will start with a 15 min discussion on mindful creation and a 5 minute meditation. Class size is limited and fills up fast, so buy your tickets now!

Each fine craft is unique and will result in a beautiful handcrafted piece for you to take home!

$30 each class - No experience necessary and all supplies are provided!

December 6, 2025: Journal Making (creating a gorgeous hand bound paper journal)

January 10, 2026: Meditation Mandalas (painting a traditional style Theravadan Buddhist mandala on a wood panel)

February 14, 2026: Cedar Pouch Basket Weaving (weaving a carrying pouch from cedar using traditional techniques)

March 14, 2026: Sashiko Japanese Hand Stitching (traditional technique using running stitches to create geometric patterns for reinforcing or decorating fabric)

April 11, 2026: Kantha Quilting (hand-stitching craft that involves layering fabrics and stitching them together with a simple running stitch to create lightweight textiles)

May 16, 2026: Making Prayer Flags (family craft appropriate for children 5 and older - Use stencils and prestrung cloth flags to create and decorate your very own string of prayer flags)
