We perform three tiers of precepts annually.To take the 5 precepts, we ask that you have practiced meditation for at least 6 months and participate in informative classes provided by the temple.In subsequent years you may choose to either renew your precepts or move up a tier to take the 8 lifetime precepts, and eventually the Bodhisattva Vows.Class Schedule registration is required. There are three classes you must attend. It is a way of generously giving support, showing kindness, and practicing non-attachment. It is also a way of returning to the temple the good energy and guidance that you have acquired.We ask that all precept takers become financial supporters by signing up for our monthly pledging program.
