Join us!About this EventOver the past decade, non-alcoholic wine, beer, and spirits have seen tremendous growth in the global drinks market, propelled by a multi-faceted consumer- and policy-driven trend toward less or no alcohol consumption. In this class, we'll try a handful of non-alcoholic wines from around the world and discuss the processes and challenges of producing these kinds of wines. We'll also explore some of the background and key moments and arguments in the modern Prohibition movement - leaving behind the click-bait media buzz. We hope you'll join us for this engaging and interesting discussion and tasting!The class will be led by Alaina Crawford, Barnard Griffin's Woodinville Tasting Room Manger, who holds a Level 3 certification in Wine from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET). This event will take place at Barnard Griffin's Woodinville tasting room (17401 133rd Ave NE).Tickets are $40 for the general public, and $35 for Barnard Griffin wine club members.Tasting-sized pours (approx. 1oz each) of five non-alcoholic wines and light palate-cleansing snacks are included.You can purchase tickets directly through Eventbrite, or by calling the Woodinville tasting room at 425-671-1176. Barnard Griffin wine club members - if you register online, we will charge your card on file one week before the event.Classes are non-refundable within 7 days of the class. If you cannot attend and it is 7 or less days until the class, you may transfer the tickets to someone else.
