- **Event Description**: A Final Hurrah for Woodhill’s Long-Serving Dance Committee

A special chapter in Woodhill’s dancing history will be celebrated on Saturday, 17 October, when the community comes together for a memorable night of Old Time and New Vogue dancing.

The evening will mark the “Last Hurrah” for Arthur and Delma Day and Brian and Judy Manderson, who have each dedicated more than 50 years of service as members of the executive committee.

Their extraordinary commitment to the hall association and its dancing community will be recognised throughout the evening, with speeches from local dignitaries and a special presentation of Honorary Lifetime Memberships to those who have given more than 15 years of service.

The celebration promises to be a wonderful opportunity for past and present members, families, friends and the wider community to come together and acknowledge the people who have helped keep local dancing alive for generations.

Guests can enjoy a fantastic night of Old Time and New Vogue dancing, accompanied by live music by the band "The Undecided", who will also be performing for the last time after more than 45 years of great music.

There will be plenty of opportunities to join in the fun with a lucky door prize, multi-draw raffle, Monte Carlo and lucky spot prizes throughout the evening.

Admission is just $10, which includes a delicious home-style supper, while children under 14 years enter free.

Whether you are a regular dancer, a former member, or simply looking for a great night out, everyone is invited to come along, celebrate an incredible legacy of service and help make this very special farewell a night to remember.
