Samhain (pronounced Sow-in or Sah-win) marks the end of the harvest and the beginning of the darker half of the year. In the Southern Hemisphere, it is observed on April 30th—a sacred threshold as we step into the Celtic New Year.

As the wheel turns, Samhain invites us into stillness and reflection. It is said that the veil between worlds is at its thinnest, offering a potent space to honour our ancestors, those who have walked before us, and the unseen threads that connect us across time.

This is a time of release—of letting go of what no longer serves, and gently acknowledging the cycles of death and rebirth that are ever-present in our lives.

Within our Silver Tent, we gather in a space of wisdom, reflection, and deep connection. As part of our time together, we will be crafting a sabbat mala, each bead representing intention, remembrance, and the journey through the wheel of the year. This sacred creation becomes a tangible thread—something to hold, to carry, and to return to—infused with the energy of Samhain and the wisdom of your own path.

Through this shared act of creation, we honour both endings and beginnings, weaving our stories, our ancestors, and our intentions into something beautiful and lasting.

For this circle, you are invited to bring two sacred offerings:

 1. Images of the women who walk before you – if you have them. Your mothers, sisters, grandmothers, great-grandmothers, and the women who have shaped your path. These will be placed upon the altar as we honour the lineage that lives within you.

 2. A bead or talisman for your mala – something imbued with meaning to anchor at the base of your sabbat mala. Perhaps a treasured bead, a small hag stone, a Goddess charm, a bell, or any object that calls softly to your spirit. A selection will also be available for those who feel guided.

There are a limited number of spaces available for this circle
