✨ A Celebration of Light, Power & Sisterhood ✨
Join us this month as Red Tent North Canterbury and Waimakariri Silver Tent invite you to our combined circle of celebration

On the sacred day of the Winter Solstice or Yule, we gather to honour the stillness, the turning of the Wheel, and the rebirth of the Sun.

Join us for an afternoon of ritual, reflection, and shared sisterhood as we celebrate Yule - a time of deep magick, firelight, and renewal. We’ll kindle the flame, share our heartfelt offerings and weave our intentions into the growing light.

The ancients knew that the winter solstice was the shortest day of the year—and that meant that the sun was beginning its long journey back towards Summer. It was a time of celebration, and for rejoicing in the knowledge that soon, the warm days of spring would return, and the dormant earth would come back to life. On this day, the sun stands still in the sky, and everyone on earth knows that change is coming.

✨ What to Bring
* A journal to capture insights and “aha” moments
* Something for the altar — a flower, a written intention, or a small item that represents winter
* A snack to share
* Your water bottle
* An open heart and a longing for connection

✨ Practical Details
Date: Saturday, 20th June 2026
Time: Please arrive by 1:45 pm so you can be settled with your cuppa by 2:00 pm.
The circle will close at 5:00 pm, with time to chat until 5:15 pm.

As these circles grow, something more begins to stir: they become a beacon — radiating inspiration, sparking transformation, and offering practical tools and soulful practices to meet life’s challenges with grace.

The Waimakariri Silver Tent welcomes all who identify as women — Maiden, Mother, Queen-ager, or Crone.
Together, we sit in circle, we share our journeys, build connection, and honour the turning of the seasons here in Aotearoa.

Silver Tent & the Wheel of the Year
As part of the Red Tent Aotearoa community, the Silver Tent holds sacred space for women transitioning through menopause, embracing their Crone years, and stepping into their roles as wisdom-keepers and elders.

While Red Tent gatherings traditionally align with the New Moon, Silver Tent circles gather at the eight sacred festivals of the Wheel of the Year — inviting reflection, connection, and celebration at these potent turning points.

Each Red Tent and Silver Tent is a co-creation of the women who come: unique, authentic, and alive.
And yet, we all seek the same things:
* Belonging
* A place to be heard and seen
* The slowing down and softening that replenishes our inner well
* The simple joy of sharing space and time in sisterhood

This combined Red Tent and Silver Tent gathering is held in honour of our Winter Solstice – Honouring the Shortest Day, and Reclaiming the Sun
