1/26 @2:00 P.M. - Shoot for the Stars!

2/23 @2:00 P.M. - Spheres of Influence
Homeschool kids in grades K-5 will discover how the geosphere, biosphere, atmosphere, and hydrosphere interact by understanding the water cycle. They will follow the water as it freezes, evaporates, and circulates and see how it shapes the Earth and sustains life. Children will purify water using distillation and filtration.

3/23 @2:00 P.M. - Atoms Matter!
Homeschool kids in grades K-5 will learn how all matter is made of atoms and build a model H2O molecule. They will discover the physical and chemical properties of matter and learn what is reversible and what is not. Children will make a sensational “slimy” reaction to take home and identify “mystery” substances using observations from previous experiments.

4/27 @2:00 P.M. - Grounded by Gravity
Homeschool kids in grades K-5 will figure out how gravity works by observing its effect. They will see how it keeps us glued to the earth. Children will simulate gravitational forces using magnets and build fun toys that use gravity.

5/18 @2:00 P.M. - We Are Family
Homeschool kids in grades K-5 will find out how forming groups benefits many animals. They will pollinate flowers, build a beehive, and build their own ultraviolet flower. Children will see why geese fly in formation and learn how groups provide safety, finding food and raising the young.

6/22 @2:00 P.M. - Survival Magic!
Homeschool kids in grades K-5 will examine fossils to learn about plants and animals that are extinct. They will sort plants and animals by where they live (biomes) and see how camouflage and mimicry help survival. Children will learn how changes to a biome helps some and hurts others.
