Warshauer Electric Supply is extremely pleased to offer our Adult Trade class titled "Introduction to Electrical Contracting". This 144-hour course will take students through a hands-on comprehensive training track in a state-of-the-art classroom setting. Upon graduation, all students will have the necessary skillset to make an immediate impact at any electrical contracting company and they will leave with a complete set of tools at no additional charge. During the last week of class and all graduates are assisted in job placement at an electrical contracting company or an electrical wholesaler, setting them up with a valuable trade skill for life in a field with record levels of demand for qualified employees! ALL GRADUATES will also receive OSHA-10 certification and NFPA 70e certification.
This course is designed to provide individuals interested in the electrical field, as well as those new to the profession, the entry level skills required to become a successful electrical helper. In the hands-on lab, students will complete skills-based projects related to residential and light commercial applications. Upon completion, a Warshauer Trade representative assists graduates in finding employment.

Program Eligibility Requirements:
Student must be a High School Senior, on track to a Diploma or a General Education Development (G.E.D.) Diploma, or already possess either of these Diploma options.
The minimum educational requirement for enrollment is the Ability to Benefit which is defined as A. Ninth (9th) grade reading and math level as measured by the Tests of Adult Basic Education (TABE) or another test approved by the USDOE.
