What could be better on a Friday night!Jimmy G. Hayes Jr. is an up and coming stand-up comedian with a story telling and punchline style of comedy. Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio but currently residing in the Washington, DC (Woodbridge, VA) area. He is an alumni of the Armed Services Arts Partnership (ASAP) Comedy - Bootcamp and Improv course. When Jimmy is not telling jokes he is out event planning, DJing/MCing for events, while continuing to support Veterans causes by working for the Department of Veterans Affairs. He has been performing comedy via zoom and in person for over five years. He has performed at several open mics (notably Funny Bone VA Beach, Magooby's Joke House, Harrisburg Comedy Zone, and Sandman Comedy Club) along with performing in many showcases and private events in Mexico, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Oregon, Washington, West Virginia, Ohio, Florida, District of Columbia, and Maryland area. He was honored to perform in front of a German crowd while vacationing in Frankfurt, Germany and Darmstadt, Germany in October 2023. He has been selected and scheduled to perform April 4, 2027 at the LIVE Chocolate Sundaes Stage at the Laugh Factory in Hollywood, CA. He is looking to share his comedic views on life which comes from his travels and service in the Army, his upbringing in Ohio, and his encounters with various ethnicities and cultures while living life.
