REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY SERVICE. Sunday 9th November, 10am. Are you a Veteran, ex service or serving person? please contact me and take your rightful place at the front of our service.
Absolutely everyone is welcome. This is one of the most important dates in everyone's calendar. More than ever we need peace in our world. Each year our lovely service grows with love and support from your community. We walk from the park down to church, led by veterans, bugle player, Rainbows, Brownies, Girl Guides, families, children. Followed by a beautiful service held at St Albans Church. The children are a huge part of this service and take great pride with their service and singing. We would encourage any person or group that would like to be part of this service to contact me. Lets bring everyone together to remember. Please stay for a cuppa and cake after the service.
St Albans Church is one of the most friendliest places I and my family have been lucky to be part off. No we don't know all the Hymns, but we clap along, we sit where we want, we laugh and enjoy the words and togetherness that each service brings. There is no pressure, no judging, all the words you need are on the wall, projected through the service to ensure everyone can join in. If you are searching for a place where you are welcomed with open arms, where everyone will soon know your name and become friends, where the service is real and relatable, and you enjoy a lovely cuppa and a biscuit afterwards please come and visit us. Children are more than welcome. Services are Sundays 10am. If you are feeling a little hesitant of places new, then please message us and we will ensure one of us is there to be with you. There is more to Church than people realise, we also have lovely quiz nights, Playgroup, Pop In coffee mornings. Brownies and Girl Guides and so much more. Imagine a church that is also a loving caring club here for our Community **
