- **Event Description**: Wolverhampton glass artist Suzie from Suzie Lavender Contemporary Glass will be at The Codsall Hive teaching a relaxed evening session of fused glass making techniques. These workshops are suitable for beginners or as a refresher course. 

Sailboats Workshop – A fun and popular fused glass workshop for you to create a unique and beautiful 2D glass sail using glass pieces, glass frits, powders and accessories.  During the workshop you will learn about glass fusing techniques and be introduced to the materials and tools. Each participant will be able to choose from the selection of glass accessories to create a their sail in a colour scheme and shape of their choice. The sails will be fired by Suzie and mounted in a wooden boat shaped base following the workshop.

Participants who are regular attendees of Suzie’s workshops are welcome to make different projects to save repetition if they contact Suzie in advance.

All creations will be kiln fired by Suzie following the sessions and then collection from Codsall Hive (or postage of the work can be organised for a small fee) from 14 days later.

Places are limited. Suitable for adults and for teens age 13 and over, under 16's must be accompanied by a participating adult.  Book today to secure your place and to learn something new and exciting!  

Workshop cost is £45.00 per person. Pay in full or book with a £10 deposit and pay the balance with cash or card in person on the evening of the event.

All Materials, safety equipment and tools are provided.
Please wear closed toe shoes.

Refreshments are not included but are available to order from the Café on the evening and you are welcome to purchase food and drink from their extensive menu during the workshop. Please do not bring your own refreshments without prior consent.
