Joe Cartwright is a singer-songwriter from Wolverhampton. He picked up the guitar at the age of 12 after watching the movie 'School of Rock’. He is heavily influenced by acts such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Kooks, Jake Bugg, Bombay Bicycle Club, and Supergrass.

Joe has developed his original writing skill as a guitarist and singer. His influences are very apparent in his solo shows, which concentrate on indie hits and classic 60’s hits. He is also developing a new specialized cover/tribute to The Beatles, simply called 'Joe Cartwright plays The Beatles’.

In addition to his solo covers shows, Joe keeps very active playing in an original Rock n Roll/Punk band ‘The Silver Lines’. He also teaches guitar at schools and at home. He holds a 2:1 (Hons) in popular music
