VALENTINE’S DAY EVENING GYPSY AND BOHEMIAN MUSIC 
When the borscht is hot, the drinks are cool, and the music touches your soul.

On February 13, 2026, immerse yourself in a warm Ukrainian atmosphere, brought to life by the authentic sound of Gypsy music.

Evening schedule:
• 19:00 – 19:45: Tasting of Ukrainian borscht and desserts
• 20:00 – 21:15: Concert (drinks available)
• 21:15 – 22:30: Second tasting of borscht and desserts
Participation Fees:
• €30 per adult (16 and above)
• €25 for ages 65 and above
• €10 per person under 16

TRIO MÉLANGE is a Brussels-based ensemble exploring the rich traditions of Gypsy and Bohemian music through original compositions and arrangements inspired by Gypsy jazz and nomadic musical cultures.

Featuring violin, guitar and double bass, the trio combines instrumental virtuosity with strong musical cohesion and a highly engaging stage presence. Their concerts offer a warm and immersive experience, where spontaneity and precision coexist in a vibrant musical dialogue.

The artistic identity of Trio Mélange is rooted in the fusion of solid classical training, refined virtuoso technique and deep respect for authentic Gypsy musical traditions. This approach allows the ensemble to develop a distinctive musical voice, firmly grounded in tradition while embracing a contemporary sensibility.

Balázs Jenő, a violinist born in Budapest into a family of musicians, comes from a musical tradition passed down through several generations. Trained from an early age, he continued his higher studies at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerpafter settling in Belgium. Combining a strong classical background with remarkable virtuosity, he performs with numerous ensembles in Belgium and internationally. He has collaborated with renowned groups such as Los Morenos, Sol y Luna, and Erik & Sanne, and holds the position of grand mayeur within the world-renowned orchestra of Boni László and Roby Lakatos.

Benjamin Clément began playing guitar at age 14 as a self-taught musician, initially exploring rock and blues before turning to jazz, inspired by Django Reinhardt. Passionate about Gypsy music, he has collaborated with Bulgarian and Romanian ensembles. His encounter with violinist Tcha Limberger strengthened his interest in jazz and Balkan music. Today, he performs with Trio Tatavla, the Tcha Limberger Trio, and the Renaud Dardenne Trio, actively contributing to the European music scene.

Vilmos Csikos, double bassist born in Budapest into a family of Gypsy musicians, began studying piano at age six before turning to the double bass at ten. By 15, he was performing in prestigious venues in Budapest, Paris, Monte Carlo, and Brussels. He collaborated with violinist Tcha Limberger on works for Ballets C de la B and Akka Moon, performed across Europe, Japan, Korea, and Canada. Vilmos regularly plays with Roby Lakatos, Birelli Lagrène, and the Tcha Limberger’s Budapest Gypsy Orchestra, showcasing his virtuosity and unique style.
