Write About Now is a small, concentrated festival dedicated to creative conversations through writing and art that speaks directly to the present moment. The festival prioritises immediacy, relevance, inclusion, truth, and boldness. It is a space for writers, performers, audiences, and the broader community to respond to ‘now’ socially, politically, emotionally, and personally, and to do so together. 

This is not a showcase of literary and performance work. It is a contribution and communication point for artists and contributors and a gathering point where the community can meet them. A place to put language on its feet quickly and honestly, and to discover what it does in a room full of people who are actively engaged in the conversation.
