- **Event Description**: Strengthening Partnerships: Culturally Responsive Research and Engagement with Priority PopulationsAbout this EventThe University of Wollongong, in association with partner LHDs, would like to invite all child-focussed health promotion practitioners from NSW Health to the final PRSP-supported ENHANCE seminar:Strengthening Partnerships: Culturally Responsive Research and Engagement with Priority PopulationsThe ENHANCE 2026 Seminar will bring together health and wellbeing professionals across NSW for a day of learning, reflection, and connection. The program features keynote speaker Dr. Summer May Finlay, presenting on Meaningful Engagement with Aboriginal Communities, offering insights into culturally responsive and respectful engagement in practice.The seminar will also include presentations showcasing the latest research being conducted across the ENHANCE program and local health districts, providing attendees with current evidence, insights, and emerging findings relevant to policy and practice.Participants will take part in an interactive workshop led by Dr Kate Bowles on Realistic Hope: Skillful Planning When Things Are Uncertain and Resources Are Thin, focusing on practical approaches to planning and sustaining impact in complex and resource-constrained settings.The day will include a networking walk around the beautiful University of Wollongong campus and Botanical Gardens. Attendees are encouraged to wear appropriate footwear and clothing and to bring weather protection suitable for an outdoor walk (hats, sunscreen, and wet weather gear as appropriate). There will also be opportunities to use the Veggie Meter during the seminar.Morning tea and lunch will be provided, and door prizes will also be included as part of the event.Please contact enhance-research@uow.edu.au for any queries.This is a hybrid event: We look forward to welcoming you in person and sharing networking and collaboration opportunities. For those further afield and unable to make it to Wollongong, you are able to join the presentations and workshop via videolink.Parking information for those attending in person:The closest parking for the Early Start building is P4 Western Car Park.
