Working ‘in the field’ you will have the opportunity to study wild plants in their natural habitat and record findings in a sketchbook. This will include experimenting with various mediums such as graphite pencil, coloured pencils, pens and watercolour washes.Drawing experience is not necessary. The workshop is about spending time in nature, developing your own style of sketchbooking/nature journaling and meeting like-minded people.When booking please select whether you would like a sketchbook included in your ticket. These workshops will be running monthly so we recommend purchasing a sketchbook for your first session with us.Hot drinks included.We will be working outdoors for this session although we can shelther in the visitor centre in bad weather. We have a couple of picnic benches we can work on although you may wish to bring a camping chair for your comfort and to be able to get up close to your chosen subject.CAR PARKING: Car parking charges apply for Summer Leys and can be paid for on the day (card payments only).
