Ian’s solo acoustic shows are about much more than just the delivery of the music; he brings the audience inside the songs by sharing stories of their inspiration and creation. His dynamic guitar playing, compelling voice and charismatic presence capture and hold the audience's attention from the first note to the last.

With 7 albums of his own, plus successful songs from co-writing in various genres, there’s lots to pick from to fit the mood of the moment.

Ian Janes draws from Soul, R&B, Pop, Jazz and more, but truly has his own compelling voice as a singer, songwriter, guitarist and producer.

Ian’s co-writes with a variety of other artists have racked up millions of streams. His song “Can't Remember Never Loving You” (Hill/Janes) was prominently featured in the CMT/Nickelodeon show “Nashville”, multiple cuts with beloved Canadian roots/blues singer Matt Andersen including one of his most streamed songs, Something To Lose; as well as So Low, Solo, which is included on the 2023 Juno Nominated album ‘Matt Anderson and the Big Bottle of Joy’. “I Do Thing” (Aielli/Frey/Janes) was released by Nashville-based country artist Kylie Frey, and went to #1 on the Texas Regional Radio chart and was performed live on NBC’s America’s Got Talent. In 2023-24 Ian’s songs and voice (‘Everything Right’ and ‘Amnesia’ ) were sampled by multi-platinum selling Canadian hip hop legend Classified for his latest Juno and ECMA nominated album, ‘Luke’s View’, with ‘Amnesia’ winning the 2025 ECMA for ‘single of the year’
