We’re inviting community members of all ages to come together for a Community Clean-Up Day, starting at the Glooscap Arena. This is an opportunity to take positive action in response to the growing concerns around littering and illegal dumping in our area, and to show what we can accomplish when we work together.

Participants will meet at the arena to pick up gloves, garbage bags, and cleaning supplies before heading out in small groups to help clean up parks, streets, and shared public spaces throughout the community. Whether you can give an hour or stay for the full event, every bit of help makes a meaningful difference.

This event is about more than just picking up garbage: it’s about building a shared sense of responsibility and pride in the place we live. Keeping our community clean is not the responsibility of one organization or a handful of people; it belongs to all of us. By showing up and taking part, we send a clear message that we care about our environment and are committed to being part of the solution.

We encourage families, friends, teams, and local groups to participate together. Let’s work side by side to create a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming community for everyone.
