- **Event Description**: As the Town of Huron commemorates its bicentennial during 2026, this year's Huron Day activities will celebrate 200 years of Huron agriculture.  The grounds of the Huron Presbyterian Church, the Huron Grange, and the Huron History Center will be active with local vendors, historic displays, and programs in the church. 
? The ROC Diggers, metal detectors from Rochester, are returning to share some local discoveries and share with the audience tips on metal detection. 
? Guinness Book of World Records Apple Peeling Work Record Holder, Kathy Wafler Madison will do apple peeking demonstrations and give folks a chance to try their hand at the an apple peeling contest from 9:30 - 10:30 am and again 12 - 1 pm.  Contest winners will be announced at 2:30 pm and awarded prizes. 
? The Huron Presbyterian Church will serve a lunch in the Church basement for a nominal fee. [Check back here for updates on that.] 
? The afternoon program in the church sanctuary will be a conversation with local farmers about the history of farming in Huron and the changes over time, the life on a farm family, with time for questions from the audience.
