One to one appointments at Brambles are available to book for 9.30am, 10.15am and 11am (please check which ticket you are booking so you get your desired timeslot).Appointments are with BfN volunteer peer supporters. BfN volunteers have experience of breastfeeding and they are also trained to provide evidence-based information and support to other parents.General info:If you wish to bring a partner with you, the volunteers will need to check with any other attendees if they are comfortable for them to be in the room too. We recognise the importance and great benefit of having partners there too, but also just want to make sure everyone receiving support feels comfortable. (If necessary, it may be that your partner could wait outside the room for a few minutes whilst someone finishes feedings, or we do a bit of furniture rearranging, or it may be fine as is). Thank you for your understanding.There is the option of staying in the room after your appointment if you're in the earlier slots, so no need to dash offBooking details are monitored by staff and volunteers within BfN Wokingham.Please note: No refreshments are provided.ArrivalIf arriving by car, you will need to park on the road, we suggest Budges Road if possible. If you are a Blue Badge holder, please use the parking space available in the car park and let the centre know you have a Blue Badge when you buzz in at the main gates.The pedestrian entrance is at the back of the building. On Budges Road there is a pathway in between the nursery and the Children’s Centre. Please take this path, there will be a gate with a sign for midwife and breastfeeding support on it. At the big main gate for the children’s centre, please press the buzzer and you will be let in (if there is no answer please try the other buttons). NB: Please do not go through the gate that is now access for the Foundry/Children’s centre staff only.If you bring a pram or pushchair with you, please use the Buggy Shelter provided (this is important as Brambles has a policy of no buggies inside the centre and they have asked us to ensure this rule is met for those attending our appointments too).The appointment will take place in the Training room.
