Yarès at Cellar Magnifique

Yarès is a duo formation (accordion, guitar, voices) focusing on Greek rebetiko music, best described as the music of the Greek immigrants from Minor Asia. Their repertoire explores less known songs about the love and hardship of the working class and of the Greek urban society of the previous century.

Fotis and Nicolas formed Yarès in an effort to share their love for rebetiko and make the songs they enjoy known to the public abroad. They have been active for more than five years and have performed in various venues across Belgium, Greece and the UK.
