The Power of the Cross in Art

The cross is the pre-eminent symbol of Christianity.

This led day looks at some of the different ways the cross has been represented in different Christian traditions and in different times in history. A gentle taught day with space for reflection, response and music.

About the Leader: Marguerite Hutchinson

Marguerite is a professional musician and keen artist and art historian, she is also Chief Executive at St Columba’s House. Marguerite is passionate about communicating the rich variety of ways in which people engage with creative expressions of faith. Marguerite will guide us through the time of Lent looking at some great works of art and we will hear some evocative songs of the season.
