# Event Details - **Event Name**: July Old World Lionsheart (2k Square Based Comp) - **Event Start and End Date**: Sun, 05 Jul, 2026 at 09:00 am - **Event Description**: We invite you to our latest Old World Tournament The tournament will consist of 3 games using scenarios from the Matched Play Guide. There will be 2 hours 50 minutes to complete each game. Game 1: Close Quarters, Secondaries: Strategic Locations (2), Domination Game 2: A Chance Encounter, Secondaries: Special Feature, Baggage Train Game 3: Encirclement, Secondaries: Strategic Locations (4), Special Feature 2000 point armies to be constructed using the Grand Melee and Combined Arms army composition rules found in the Matched Play Guide. The Renegade Legacy Pack will be in use for legacy factions in this event. https://www.squarebased.com/ Square Based Comp will also be used for this event. https://thehonestwargamer.com/warhammer-the-old-world/square-based-comp/ Tickets cost £25 per person. Store credit will be awarded to the top finisher dependent on attendance. Please message or email the store to confirm your booking. The tournament will be run on the Best Coast Pairings app (BCP). If this is your first time attending one of our events please message the store with your email address so we can add you to the tournament on BCP. Army Lists: Army lists to be uploaded to BCP by Wednesday 17th June Your army list must be presented in a clear format, showing any upgrades you have chosen for each unit. Any spellcasters must also list which lore of magic they are taking. Timetable of the event: 09.00-09.10 Registration 09.10-12.00 Game 1 12.00-12.30 Lunch 12.30-15.20 Game 2 15.30-18.20 Game 3 Things you will need: Your army Dice & tape measure. Templates. A copy of your army list. Rulebook and relevant rules for your army. All relevant faqs or erratas for your army. Money for food and drinks. Models: 3D printed models, conversions and reasonable proxies are all allowed, but please make sure your opponent clearly knows what your model is. There are no painting requirements for this event. Rule Disputes: If during your game you and your opponent can't agree on something please consult the rulebook or call a referee. Obviously you can discuss the referee’s decision, but please don't create an argument. The referee's final decision must be followed.
