Food security? Health? Cost of livingThe film is based on the National Emergency Briefing in Westminster, with appearances from Chris Packham, Deborah Meaden, and a range of voices from across the UK.After the film, there will be an open discussion about what it means for our community and what we can do locally.Our MP, Charlie Maynard, will be there to hear us, as will Cllr. Andrew Prosser, climate lead on our District Council. Local and national politics will be listening to us. This is a chance to hear the real McCoy on climate change, but also to make your voice heard where it matters.The film shows from 7pm, but the bar opens at 6.30.It’s free, and everyone is welcome. Please reserve a space so we have an idea of numbers. Cash and card donations will be available on the night to help cover our costs.We will also be hosting a debrief of the event as part of our quarterly Climate Matters meeting with Charlie Maynard on Saturday 18th July. We hope it will provide a valuable opportunity to reflect on what we’ve seen and heard at the film screening and to look ahead.
