The KidWind Challenge is a hands-on design challenge that engages students in grades 4-12. Student teams design, construct, and test small-scale wind turbines or solar homes at events throughout Virginia, and the World!

Coach trainings are for new and returning coaches to learn more about the wind and solar challenges, get time with the challenge equipment, and discuss how best to start a team. Registration is FREE and all participants get a FREE wind or solar starter kit.
