- **Event Description**: Join the South Wood County Historical Museum for a guided walking tour of Forest Hill Cemetery on Saturday, October 24, at 1:00 p.m., giving participants a chance to explore the history of one of the area's historic cemeteries and learn about some of the people who helped shape the community.

During the tour, SWCHC Board Vice-President Phil Brown will explore the history of Forest Hill Cemetery itself while sharing the stories of a selection of historically significant residents buried there. Participants will learn about the lives, accomplishments, and connections of individuals whose stories are part of South Wood County's history.

The tour will take place entirely outdoors and involve walking through the cemetery. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and shoes.

Space is limited to 20 participants, and reservations are required. Those interested in attending should call the South Wood County Historical Museum at 715-423-1580 to reserve a spot.

Additional tour: If there is sufficient interest, the museum may offer a second Forest Hill Cemetery tour at 11:00 a.m. the same day. 

The tour is free, and donations are appreciated to support the South Wood County Historical Museum and its ongoing preservation and educational work.
