Join instructor Mary Mertes for this festive and creative two-part pottery project!
During Part One on November 13, you’ll hand-build two ceramic trees — starting with a clay cone base and adding teardrop-shaped “branches.” You can customize your trees to be full and textured or tall and slender — it’s completely up to your style!
After class, Olio will fire your greenware pieces in our kiln. You’ll then return for Part Two during Open Pottery on any of the following dates to glaze your trees in your favorite colors:
> Tuesday, December 2 | 3–5p or 5:30–7:30p
> Wednesday, December 3 | 3–5p or 5:30–7:30p
> Tuesday, December 9 | 3–5p or 5:30–7:30p
> Wednesday, December 10 | 3–5p or 5:30–7:30p
Once glazed and fired a second time, Olio will contact you when your finished ceramic trees are ready for pickup. These charming handmade trees make beautiful holiday décor or thoughtful one-of-a-kind gifts!
