Boomtown opened in 2015 with the intent of providing the Wisconsin Dells area with a Country Music bar. Mission accomplished. Years later we're here serving up great Nashville inspired food to a Country Music soundtrack.

Ricky Carl is a country music artist based in Two Harbors, MN, blending heartfelt originals with a wide range of crowd-pleasing covers. Born outside Dallas, TX, in 1995, Ricky discovered music early, learning multiple instruments and playing in bands that spanned from pop punk to metal before finding his true voice in country at age 17.

He’s performed across Minnesota — from local bars to opening for Hairball — and even earned 2nd place in the Duluth News Tribune’s “Best of the Best” contest for Best Local Band. Now focusing on his solo career, Ricky is set to release his debut EP in 2024, showcasing influences from George Strait to Green Day. On stage, he brings energy, versatility, and a genuine love for music that keeps audiences coming back.
