- **Event Description**: Peer support group based on The Wirral for people aged 18 and over, who are living with HIV.About this EventThis group meeting is facilitated by Sahir House, Liverpool's largest & oldest LGBTQ+ and HIV support charity.The meetings take place on the third Wednesday of the month in a venue on The Wirral.The support group is based on The Wirral, and offers a safe and friendly space for people living with HIV.The aim of the group is to provide a safe, confidential space for people to;share experiences of living with HIVdiscuss hopes, dreams & concerns of living with HIVprovide emotional support; and build friendships and have fun together.We sometimes invite professionals to the group to discuss things like developments in Medic*tion, benefit advice, women’s health etc.The meeting runs from 1.30pm - 3pm.Due to limited capacity, we ask those who would like to attend in person to book a place via Eventbrite. There will be a maximum of 10 attendees.This allows for a safe and manageable group session, creating a comfortable and relaxed experience for those attending.*By booking a place, you agree to registering as a Service User at Sahir.If you have not been to Sahir before, you will be required to complete a self-referral form, link here;https://www.sahir.org.uk/self-referral-form/or you can email info@sahir.org.uk for a word doc format.Once we have received a completed referral form, it will be allocated to the relevant support service waiting lists. When we reach your name, a member of the team to contact you to book you in for a registration appointment.
