Spring Concert

Celebrate the 65th anniversary of the Albin Polasek Museum & Sculpture Gardens with a special spring concert held in the intimate setting of Polasek’s Historic Home.

This program features Dr. Ayako Yonetani, internationally acclaimed concert violinist and Professor of Violin and Viola at the University of Central Florida, joined by musicians from UCF’s Pegasus String Quartet Graduate Program. Dr. Yonetani has performed at leading venues around the world, including Carnegie Hall and major concert halls across Europe and Asia.

The afternoon will also offer an opportunity to learn more about the connection between music and the brain, with insights from Dr. Kiminobu Sugaya, Division Head of Neuroscience at UCF. Dr. Sugaya and Dr. Yonetani were recently honored with the 2025 Steinmetz Arts and Wellness Innovation Award for their collaborative work.

Blending exceptional live music, thoughtful conversation, and the historic surroundings of Polasek’s home, this concert offers a memorable way to mark the museum’s 65-year legacy.
