Kids aged four and over are encouraged to participate, but the event is open to anyone who would like to learn more about our gardens, and how earth worms help our soil ecosystems.We will provide all supplies necessary for each activity. The racing worms are paper crafts, and the released worms will be live worms to benefit our garden! We recommend wearing closed-toed shoes and bringing water as this event is entirely in our garden!A waiver form is required for all participants. Those under 18 must have a parent/guardian present at check-in to sign a minor waiver (or request one ahead of time). Volunteers 12 and under must have a parent/guardian stay for the entire event.Please reach out to sustainability@cityofwinterpark.org for any questions or concerns regarding the event.
