Winter Pruning Basics

✂️Drop in to the nursery for a demo where we’ll walk through the greenhouse and highlight winter pruning techniques on our own plants.

Winter is one of the best times to give your plants a little cleanup. With the leaves down and growth slowed, it’s easier to see structure, remove problem branches, and set your plants up for strong spring growth.

Winter pruning helps you:
• Remove dead or crossing branches
• Improve airflow and shape
• Encourage healthier, stronger growth
• Prep fruit trees for a better harvest

Just remember — avoid heavy pruning on freeze-sensitive tropicals until the danger of frost has passed.
