Join us at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Celebration to commemorate the life and legacy of the civil rights legend. The annual event is hosted by the City of Winter Garden. Admission is free.

FESTIVITIES INCLUDE:
-Parade through historic downtown
-Live Music Concert
-Family Friendly Activities
-Vendors selling food and refreshments
-Bring a lawn chair or blanket to enjoy the parade and concert.
No coolers and no alcoholic beverages are permitted. 
This is a rain or shine event.

PARADE, 11:00 am Kickoff
Historic Downtown Winter Garden/West Plant Street
The remembrance kicks off with a Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration Parade in historic downtown.
The parade travels along West Plant Street (from Woodland Street to Central Avenue) through historic downtown. Secure a good viewing spot along West Plant Street to enjoy the procession of community floats and groups.

Due to limited space, preregistration is required for all parade entries. There is no fee to participate.
Complete and submit the PARADE PARTICIPANT APPLICATION.
PARADE PARTICIPANT APPLICATION DEADLINE: TUESDAY, JANUARY 13, 2026. (Applications will not be
accepted after the deadline.)

All applicants will receive an email notification whether approved or not approved. All entries are eligible to win the Parade Spirit Award.

Please Note: Parking along West Plant Street from Dillard Street to Park Avenue, and a portion of the adjoining side streets, will not be available for parking at this event due to road closures.
