Grand Duos

Join School of Music faculty members Ida Bieler, violin, and Dmitri Vorobiev, piano, for a performance of grand duos for violin and piano. The program opens with Johann Sebastian Bach’s joyful E major Sonata, followed by Beethoven’s fiery and formidable “Kreutzer” Sonata and finishing with Sergei Prokofiev’s brooding Sonata No. 1 in F minor, a work of striking complexity and power. From elegance to intensity, this concert offers a masterful journey through three towering works.
