Flamenco Roots: A Dance Workshop

Dating back to The Golden Age and a strong background of Spain, the Europeans would stomp and chant to release and recharge their soul’s energy.

Experience the passion and rhythm of Flamenco with dancer Sam Marrese, who began learning at age 8 from her Abuela in Rosario, Argentina, and on the beaches of Mar de Plata, Spain. Now, decades later, she shares this treasured art through an immersive workshop exploring the foundations of Flamenco: toque (guitar), cante (song), and baile (dance). Learn footwork, graceful arm movements, and rhythmic clapping as you connect with the emotional depth and energy of this traditional Spanish dance in a warm, supportive setting.
