Das Debütalbum Love & Murder von Beaux Gris Gris and The Apocalypse landete in ganz Europa in den Top 10 der Genre-Charts. Die weitreichende Anziehungskraft des Albums brachte ihm Platz 13 in den „Top 50 Alben des Jahres“ des Classic Rock Magazine ein, dass es als „einen sinnlichen, lebendigen Cocktail“ beschrieb. Nachdem die Band bei Festivals in ganz Europa als Headliner aufgetreten war, darunter Upton Festival (Großbritannien), The Great British R&B Festival (Großbritannien), Moulin (Niederlande) und Blues Alive (Tschechische Republik), wurde sie bei den European Blues Awards als Band des Jahres nominiert. Die mehrfach preisgekrönte Sängerin und Songwriterin Greta Valenti ist eine in Louisiana geborene und aufgewachsene kreative Person, deren Familie Generationen vor dem Louisiana Purchase umfasst. Ihre Rockband Well Hung Heart (OCMAs beste Liveband) tourte durch die USA und spielte als Vorband für Fitz & The Tantrums, Twenty One Pilots, Foreigner und Offspring. Der Gitarrist und Mitwirkende Robin Davey war der jüngste Neuzugang in der British Blues Hall of Fame. Er war eine Zeit lang als Künstler für Atlantic und Interscope Records tätig und hat mit einem breiten Spektrum an Künstlern von Mick Jagger bis Katy Perry Aufnahmen gemacht. Dieses Jahr veröffentlicht die Band ihr drittes Album „Hot Nostalgia Radio“ auf ihrem unabhängigen Label GROW VISION Music & Records und tourt ausgiebig durch Großbritannien, Europa und die USA.
