The Minnesota Prescribed Fire Council has been working hard behind the scenes in 2025, with the freshly minted 2025-2029 Strategic Action Plan, new logo, and formalization as a state non-profit organization and inaugural Board of Directors. This coming year we hope to grow our community of practice and develop more active committees and task forces for training, events, outreach, and more. It is an exciting time to get involved and help shape the development of our state's Prescribed Fire Council. The conference on January 9-10 will be a valuable networking and relationship building opportunity for Minnesota's prescribed fire community as well as with our Wisconsin neighbors. We hope you can join us!
