The Graffiti Gallery Presents 7 Featuring Artwork by Matea Radic
Graffiti Gallery will be featuring a solo exhibit by Matea Radic titled 7, which will be opening October 26th, from 7-11pm, and will be on display through to January 2018. Matea is a Winnipeg-based artist and illustrator. Her exhibit, 7, will explore concepts of identity, displacement, loss, and reconciling the idea of home. Matea was born in Sarajevo and came to Canada at age 7, she recently returned to Sarajevo for the first time in 25 years. 7 will feature work created in response to her childhood memories of leaving Sarajevo, and her experiences during her recent return.
This exhibit is made possible through the generous support of the Manitoba Arts Council and the Carolyn Sifton Foundation.
Donation of non-perishable food item encouraged at the door.
