This four-week class will explore gospel singing from its earliest form, gospel songs from the Civil Rights Movement, and modern popular songs influenced by the gospel style of singing. The course will cover stylistic elements of gospel singing, including harmonizing and free style singing.

These introductory classes are designed to be a stepping stone towards private music lessons. We are offering graduates of this class a $50 discount for individual instruction. Intro to Gospel Singing for Adults students must register for private lessons within one year of graduation from this class in order to take advantage of this special offer.
