Daniel Martin Moore is from the Commonwealth of Kentucky. He has released five albums to-date: three via Sub Pop, and two via his own OK Recordings (a label that possesses the clear aim of bringing some great tunes to some discerning ears). Often, you'll find DMM working/recording/touring/drinking tea/throwing frisbee with Dan Dorff, Jr., Joan Shelley, Jim James, Kevin Ratterman, Dave Givan, Ben Sollee, and a whole host of other talented musicians from around the Commonwealth, the country, & the globe.
Scott Nolan is a songwriter, poet, multi-instrumentalist from Winnipeg, Manitoba Treaty One Territory. His songs have been recorded by Hayes Carll, Mary Gauthier, Watermelon Slim, and Corin Raymond among others. He has recently produced albums for William Prince, Lynne Hanson, and Watermelon Slim. His music earnest and expectant, if a little weatherworn and weary, Winnipeg-based songwriter and performer Scott Nolan has earned the esteem his works have rendered. Some have called him noteworthy, even acclaimed - but the smart money cites Nolan as a voice rarely heard this side of the century, a musician who shrugs away any five-dollar-cover singer-songwriter motifs before he unsnaps his guitar case. His are the songs sung for people with a past, sturdily backlit with unswerving musicianship and a disposition rooted in the best of rock n' roll, roots and Americana.
Possum / Opossum is Winnipeg's newest electronic/roots duo featuring Kerji Stephens (Last Ditch on the Left, Kerri Woelke) and Dave Quanbury (Twilight Hotel, Exile Brass Band). Born through an Odd Couple's show at Winnipeg's Times Change(d), Kerji & Dave have been working their very different styles of music to create an original take on traditional roots music, adding electronic drums, keys and bass.
