The gatherings are a program of the South Dakota State Poetry Society (SDSPS), with the support of our sponsor, Dacotah Bank.

This event in Winner will feature a BEGINNING POETRY WRITING WORKSHOP from 3-5 p.m. with SDSPS Board members John Nelson and Marcella Remund. Then, come back from 6-8 p.m. for the OPEN MIC featuring South Dakota Poet Laureate Bruce Roseland, where you can sign up to read YOUR poems! No writing experience is needed for the workshop, and all are welcome to the open mic, whether you come to read or just come to listen.
