Today, they have expanded their homestead into a successful ranch in Winkelman, Arizona, where they raise livestock, operate a USDA-inspected meat processing facility, and feed their community. The Heartquists are also in the process of getting their operation certified organic through the Arizona Transition to Organic Partnership Program (AZ TOPP).Our field day will include:a tour of Heartquist Hollow Family Farm and processing facilitycommunity building opportunitiesa presentation on marketing strategiesfree lunch!We are excited to welcome Courtney Boyer, Supply Chain Manager at Duncan Family Farms, to be our guest speaker. Courtney's presentation will touch on annual budgeting, new product development, distribution channel optimization, and more.This event is part of a marketing series hosted by the ASU Swette Center for Sustainable Food Systems for the Arizona Transition to Organic Partnership Program.
