Then try your hand at constructing your own miniature batteau model to take home.As part of Virginia State Parks History & Culture Weekend, this program highlights the ingenuity and river-based history that helped shape both the park and the surrounding area. It’s a meaningful way to connect with the past and experience a unique piece of James River heritage.Please meet at Green Hill Pond. All materials provided. Suitable for all ages. Wear appropriate clothing and shoes for the weather and bring a water bottle with you.
