Come nature journal at Cherokee Marsh North Unit! There are many trails through the woods, lookouts over the marsh, and paths by prairies too.
The event will start off with me giving some quick tips on interesting things to notice and ways to record them in your journal. Then we’ll split up to find what’s interesting to us, journal, and meet back up at the end to share what we noticed. I'm happy to spend additional time with folks brand new to nature journaling--it's easy to get started!

WHAT IS NATURE JOURNALING?
Nature journaling is more than drawing or painting pictures--we also write questions and notes in our sketchbooks to wonder more deeply about nature. We’ll talk briefly about ideas of what to write, such as using the writing prompts "I notice... I wonder... It reminds me of..."
