Guided Group Stand Up Paddle Boarding Evening (6-12 people)

Come out to Windsor for the evening and try Stand Up Paddle Boarding with a group.  This is perfect for a group of friends, co-workers, families or any other gathering of friendly folk.  Our team is all about welcoming you to the amazing sport of Stand Up Paddle Boarding and creating a fun and inviting environment for you to learn and play on the water.  Summer is short, so let's make as many memories as possible!

For groups of either 6 or 12, come out for a night of pure fun and learning together.  We will start with a full group instruction of the basics of Stand Up Paddle Boarding and once everyone is comfortable we will head out to paddle along the Avon River and back in after 1.5 hrs.  All SUP equipment, PFD's (mandatory) and certified Paddle Canada SUP Instructors provided for your evening on the water.

We will be starting our paddle from the docks at Pisiquid Canoe Club on the Windsor Waterfront. On this adventure, we'll set you up on a board, teach you the basics of paddling, guide you up the gentle Pesaquid Lake under the bridge and up along the Avon River. You'll get comfortable on your board and enjoy the views and the water together in our group paddle (nobody gets left behind!).

The sun & wind, all need to play nice for this 1.5hr adventure so if the weather doesn't cooperate, and we can't get out that evening, we will either reschedule or you will get a full refund. We will let you know 6hrs before at the latest.

The ocean/river water is still pretty cool in the evenings of summer, so wear clothing you can get wet in (no cotton!) like leggings and a long sleeve shirt, a bathing suit underneath if you want to brave the water for a swim, or a wet suit and water shoes. Bare feet on the board is BEST for balance so if it's not too cold, we'll be doing that. Bring an extra set of clothes to change into after you're done. We'll provide the boards, PFD's and a Paddle Canada certified guide - all you need to bring is snacks/water bottle, bug spray, a waterproof camera carrier (around your neck strap is great) or a GoPro attached to you (we won't be diving for lost camera's!) and some salty smiles.

All profits from our trips help support Girls on Boards, a non-profit organization offering body positive SUP trips for teens - so good for you, not only do you get to go out and enjoy this exclusive Annapolis Valley paddling experience, but you're also helping out!

This is an all levels paddle (no experience on paddle boards necessary), for ages 16 & up. Everyone must be able to swim, be reasonably healthy and fit (able to paddle for 1.5hrs and be comfortable on the open water. You will be required to sign a waiver. If you're wondering about your ability, please ask first!

We meet at the Pisiquid Canoe Club dock at 10 mins before your paddle starts.

Cost is $37 each, groups must be either 6 people or 12 people.
