We will walk the 3 Gorges Trail, which goes past the gorges, not through them. 😊

• Difficulty: Moderate – some uphills, river walking, and grassy patches

🥾 Hike details:
This varied and adventurous route includes sections of 4x4 track, somewhat overgrown single track, and stretches of river walking near scenic gorges and wild landscapes.

Please note that we will not have a sit-down break during the hike. We will keep a steady pace and relax together at Towerbos afterwards for those who would like to stay a little longer.

👉 No coffee or snacks are included. Please bring enough water and snacks to sustain your energy during the hike.

💰 Hike fee: N$250 per person

🍕 After the hike (optional):
You’re very welcome to stay for pizza and drinks at the Towerbos venue (own account) and cool off with a swim in the pool, a perfect way to end the day.

📍 Location:
Towerbos, just outside Windhoek (approx. 12–14 km from the city centre), off Daan Viljoen Road (C28).

Please familiarise yourself with the route to Towerbos beforehand, as there is limited cellphone reception at the gate and inside the premises. After entering the gate, drive approximately 1 km along the gravel road to the Towerbos parking / accommodation / bar & pool area.

🚗 Vehicle access:
Sedans are usually fine, but the road can sometimes have larger rocks. A higher-clearance vehicle is recommended.

🐾 Dogs:
Friendly and well-behaved dogs are welcome. Please ensure they do not chase wildlife. Consider the duration, heat, and possible thorns along the route, and bring water for your dog.

📝 Important:
An indemnity form must be signed before the hike starts.
