Dogs must be on flat or martingale collars, and a regular 4-6 ft leash. 

Dogs must be able to complete the following test items according to the AKC rules in order to obtain title.

Treats are allowed to come into the training center with you, however they may not be given while the test is in process.

If you are not sure if your dog is ready for the test or not, we recommend taking one of our 4-week CGC classes to help you prepare.

Test 4: Out for a walk (walking on a loose lead)+

Test 9: Reaction to distraction+

Test 10: Supervised separation
