A lifelong educator and conductor, Dr. Nickerson is the 2025 recipient of the Russell-Cox Award for Distinguished Service to the Choral Art and has spent nearly four decades shaping young musicians as Director of Choral Activities at Windham High School. Currently in his fifth season as Artistic Director of the Maine Music Society, he has led choirs across the U.S., Canada, and Europe, conducted at Carnegie Hall, and worked with ensembles that have performed for three U.S. Presidents.

Join us for an engaging morning of insight, stories, and inspiration from a true champion of choral music and music education. All are welcome!
