An opportunity to zoom all the way out and then all the way back in and leave with a sense of clarity and vigour about what you want to do with your time and energy.
What will it look like?

The morning will be a Deep Time Walk (www.deeptimewalk.org) that traces the history of the Earth. Our humble minds can find it really hard to fully understand the meaning of the 4.6 billion years it has taken earth to become the home that it is today...stepping along the deeptime walk of 4.6km can help us comprehend this vast time scale. Every metre we walk equates to 1 million years.

Think of it as a storytelling journey, part history, part science, part mindful experience. Explore the multi layered influences on our planet over time and the recent impact of our own species. 

We will eat our packed lunches around the cosy campfire in the woods at Footprint (we’ll provide hot drinks and biscuits)

Through experiential activities during the afternoon we will have time to reflect on what the walk meant to us and what thoughts and feelings it generated. Having spent the morning with such a long wide perspective the afternoon offers time to focus in on the details and reflect on the life around us and how interconnected we are with everything on this planet.

This is a positive opportunity to step back and look afresh at what matters most and how we can support the parts of our lives that bring us joy and fulfilment.
